Deer Creek Conservation Area

Deer Creek Conservation Area is best known for its 25-hectare reservoir created by a dam where County Rd 45 crosses Deer Creek.  This body of water winds north along the creek valley among forested hillsides for 2 km.  Enjoy Deer Creek’s scenic beauty and northern lake impression while paddling up the creek valley and exploring some of the side arms of the lake.  The reservoir offers some of the best fishing around with trout, largemouth bass, yellow perch and panfish.

Enjoy a family camping holiday or day’s outing.  The conservation area is open from Victoria Day weekend through until Labour Day.  There is an entrance fee and canoes are available to rent. Reserve a campsite at www.lprca.on.ca
